The first Joe Van Gogh cafe! Our original location has come a long way and served a lot of folks since we were roasting our coffee by the front door. As a cornerstone of the Chapel Hill community, JVG is a “third place” where conversation between friends, quiet contemplation for one, or a student study group are all welcomed. There is seating both inside and out, with a few community tables for larger groups. Take a book from the free library. Use the community printer. Enjoy the latest local art hanging on our walls. This cafe set the template for us: providing friendly, comfortable and safe spaces for everyone through good coffee and chill vibes.
